Lisa at Great Escapes Travel has planned several vacations for us, each one was in a very different place and therefore each experience was unique! The most recent vacation was a cruise down the Rhine this past June, and oh what a treat that was.Lisa made sure that each part of our journey was taken care of for us, so that there was no stress at all in transfers, or even when we left the Avalon cruise and took another cruise down the Rhone river in France. On the transition between two different cruise lines, Lisa booked us a car and a driver with a local personal guide. This turned out to be the highlight of our trip!!

When we went to South America, we contacted Lisa at Great Escapes Travel for help with our travel plans and we absolutely loved the trip she planned for us. She arranged for us to ride on the historic Hyrum Bingham train up to Machu Picchu, which was a highlight of our trip. She also arranged for a stay at a lovely historic monastery in Peru. Lisa makes sure that we are getting the most for our money, whether it is a stay at an excellent resort, or making sure we get to see and do the things that are most important to us. We like that she really listens to us and then tailors our itinerary to fit our interests. Lisa goes the extra mile to make the most of our travel.

We had an amazing trip to Tahiti and are so grateful for Lisa’s help. There were several flights and transfers, it was nice to have all those taken care of and it ran so smoothly! Travel planning usually stresses us out but having Lisa’s help took that stress away from us. She got us information we would ask for, and made sure we were comfortable with all of the plans beforehand. I highly recommend allowing Lisa to assist anyone in their travel plans!

Lisa put together a vacation for my wife and I for our twenty year anniversary. I could not be more happy! This vacation was perfect! All of the excursions that Lisa recommended we fabulous! We had so much fun and were so well taken care of. I can’t wait to save up enough money for Lisa to put another vacation package together for us. Great knowledge of the area, people, resorts and activities. I know words can be generic and used enough they seem to lose their meaning. So, it is hard for me to express how much we loved the time we spent in French Polynesia! Thank you Lisa for the trip of a lifetime.

The Events she planned for Bastille day were Phenomenal!
We just returned home from a great European River Cruise. This was the second big trip Lisa has planned for us. She did a fantastic job setting up all the details of the trip. We didn't have to worry about a thing. The events she planned on Bastille Day in Paris were phenomenal! We skipped many lines and saw the best of each city. We'll be using Lisa again on our next trip!

The trip was the best that I ever had
A friend and I had Great Escapes plan a Rhine River cruise and an extensive tour of Switzerland. The personalized assistance we were given in planning this trip was outstanding. You need to realize that we are two 80 plus year old ladies that wanted to see many, special to us, places that were not included on any itinerary that was offered by river cruise company and did not want the hassle of handling our own luggage. We got every thing we wanted and we didn't have one problem during the entire 20 day trip. It was everything that we had dreamed of. The personalized planning and help we received was outstanding. The trip was the best I have ever had and I am looking forward to using Great Escapes for my next trip.

Lisa at Great Escapes Travel is amazing. Having never used a travel agent before I was reluctant to make the call but I am so glad I found Lisa. My family of four was traveling to France and Spain and I wanted some help but also the freedom of doing what we wanted. Lisa was great at finding beautiful hotels and apartments along the way in the perfect area of the city or town we wanted to go to. I had picked out a few places we wanted to go to and Lisa helped with all the details to make our trip magical. She found places of interest to stop and visit along the way that ended up being some of our favorite adventures. She also did this all in a budget that I was hoping to stay under. Lisa also added in some fun ideas I would never have thought of, which was a highlight of our trip. I really liked that she not only made a perfect trip just for our family but also made it stress free. It was the little details of her going beyond the expected that I really appreciated. I highly recommend using Lisa at Great Escapes and can not wait until she can plan another adventure for us.

We had a wonderful time in France and Switzerland and appreciate all of your efforts. Every arrangement, train and lodging, worked exactly as planned. A couple of our rooms were upgraded I am certain due to your influence. We followed the plan pretty much as outlined. The kayak trip was great. The Eiger trail was a great and we spent the day in the mountains where it was cool. All of the hotels you selected for us were a delight and located perfectly. The Storchen in Zurich was a treat. It is a great hotel in a great location. Lisa, thanks again for all of your help. It was a great trip.

I can't thank you enough, Lisa, for the beautiful planning you did for us. You made our vacation feel effortless. The packets and brochures gave us step by step instructions and people to contact while we were in beautiful Hawaii. The balance between scheduled events and free time was perfect! Our helicopter ride made me speechless! If I had anything to do differently I would spend a full week at each island; O'ahu & Maui, to give myself a little more time for sun bathing. Thank you!

The tips for trips and excursions were invaluable (especially, the road to Hana and ferry to Lanai). Then, you selected the historic Moana Surfrider for our stay on Waikiki...good choice! What fabulous views. We walked to Diamond Head from the hotel! And finally, thank you for creating memories of our visit to Pearl Harbor and the luau at Paradise Cove.
