Before planning your trip, we offer a complimentary consultation so you can get to know us, how we might best meet your travel needs, and if we are a good fit for you.  I will also ask questions to learn about your travel style and gain insight to what will make this a memorable experience for you.

Plan on about 20 to 30 minutes. Have a pen and paper with your questions ready!

Many of our clients tell us we planned things for them they didn’t know they needed until they arrived. I have a collaborative approach to personalize every custom journey around your interests and preference.  With my expertise, I will provide helpful tips with  honest advise based on our experience and professional first hand knowledge of the country and destination. We collaborate and refine your itinerary until it is perfect. 

Prior to your initial deposit, Great Escapes provides you a full disclosure of the terms and conditions, cancel or change policies.  It is important you are aware of these as well as what penalties may come into play if you need to change or cancel your travel arrangements.

Terms & Conditions apply to every trip. You will need to review and approve Great Escapes Terms and Conditions as well as those of additional suppliers of services for your trip. These terms and conditions are added to your sales agreement. 

When you have fallen in love with the trip I have created for you, I will send you two emails: a credit card authorization form and an e-signature invoice for you to complete and secure your trip. This invoice also will advise you of the terms, including each supplier’s cancellation and change fees, and provide you a schedule of payment deadlines. A deposit or full payment or credit card guarantee will be required to secure arrangements. (Availability and price can change at any time until payment is made.)

A few weeks prior to departure I will present you with your trip documents, including all reservations and arrangements that have been made. And your electronic itinerary will be finalized.

About 2 weeks before you depart, I’ll arrange a time we can review your travel arrangements and answer your questions.

• You will need to have reviewed your travel plans and be familiar with all of your itinerary before our 2 week meeting.
